Why Beyonce will never be the queen her fans think she is

I’ve been a fan of Beyonce’s since….its been so long that I can’t even remember! But one thing which keeps me from being a true stan of Beyonce is her constant attempts to portray herself as someone who does everything for all the right reasons. I won’t go into the whole ‘Beyonce is a fraud’ speech as Beyonce fans know it all too well themselves and if they don’t, then they may find the below video interesting. Instead I will go into how Beyonce’s endorsements do not put her in a good light but puts her next to this generations breed of pop puppets like Lady Gaga. 

Beyonce is a multi-platinum, record-breaking singer. But it doesn’t stop there. Apparently she also directs some of her videos (such as her I Am world tour) and writes some of her songs. Well that’s if you believe she does since she has been caught crediting herself for writing some of her songs even though the REAL writers of her songs (Ne-Yo, Jean) have come forward and said that Beyonce didn’t write them. But anyway, 2013 is clearly the year of Beyonce. She has a HBO documentary coming up, her upcoming album, her pepsi endorsement and also the Superbowl. But something smells a little off straight away. 

Last year Beyonce headed the Get Moving campaign also supported by Michelle Obama which is basically an exercise campaign for Americans. Mmm okay. But this is not a good look when it was announced that Beyonce was the new face of Pepsi in a 50 million dollar deal which includes her promoting and endorsing the brand. She was even photographed pushing a trolley full of Pepsi. Why would you be involved in a fitness campaign and then promote Pepsi if you was so passionate about the Get Moving campaign in the beginning? This just shows how Beyonce (like many other pop stars) just care about the dollars. 

But what about the Sandy killings? Beyonce’s response was supporting an end to gun violence and speaking up in a commercial with other famous people/celebrities. 

I support Beyonce with this. But when she is popping her coochie in many of her music videos and glorifying gun violence then how can I take her seriously? Again Beyonce seems to care about making herself look good and does not seem to care about gun crime at all or she would not have filmed music videos like this 

Beyonce I’m still a fan but as long as you keep acting like your doing things for the right reasons, the Wig Snatcher will continue to snatch those 900 pound lace fronts.
